| See behind the scenes at our Deptford studios this September, when 65 designer-makers open their workspaces for Deptford Design Weekend. Browse amongst a range of jewellery, fashion and interior products (including ceramics by Jonathan Wade as shown), and chat to the designer-makers about their work methods and inspirations.
The Platform Café is also onsite, offering rest and refreshment and an ideal base for exploring the many other activities in the area.
Cockpit Arts supports and promotes the work of artist designer-makers and product designers through all stages of their business development – from first beginnings through to international commercial success. It is the largest creative hub for designer-makers in the UK, housing a total of 165 creative businesses across its two London sites in WC1 and SE8. Information on how to apply for a studio is available from our website.
If you would like to come shopping or are a trade buyer we can offer you access to a massive range of individual pieces for you to purchase from the designer-makers themselves. You can either make your selection from our (Online Directory) and contact the makers direct, or visit our Open Studios to see the full range. Alternatively, our Sales Development Manager is available to guide you in your choice of purchase. She can organise private tours around Cockpit Arts studios for groups of buyers or corporate hospitality events. Contact Lucy Everett on 020 7419 1959 or via sales@cockpitarts.com for further information. |
